ChatGPT Manual

ChatGPT caricatures

A caricature prompt names the exaggeration and the medium. Use a photo you have rights to, or describe a fictional person.

What the caricature search wants

ChatGPT caricatures is a search for a drawn exaggeration of a face. A custom GPT with that job exists, and the normal image tools can do it too. This page does not draw the picture. You run the prompt in your ChatGPT account.

Name the medium or you get a random poster style: pencil, flat vector, or watercolor. Name one feature to exaggerate, not five. Name what must stay recognizable: glasses, a haircut, a team color. Leave out insults. A caricature of a private person, posted without context, is an easy way to harass them.

A prompt with boundaries

Use: Caricature of a fictional baker with a large mustache, ink line on cream paper, friendly, no text in the image. If you use your own photo, say the photo is of you and you want a flattering exaggeration for a profile sketch.

Reject results that add a real celebrity you did not name, or that sexualize the person. Those failures are a new prompt, not a tweak. For a logo instead of a portrait, use the logo guide.

Questions

Do I need the Caricature GPT?
No. It is a custom GPT with a saved style. The image tools in a normal chat accept the same kind of prompt.
Can I caricature a classmate or coworker from a photo?
Do not, unless they asked you to and understand it may be posted. A joke portrait of someone who did not agree is a good way to hurt them.
Why do the hands and teeth look wrong?
Small repeated shapes still slip. Ask for a crop that hides hands, or simplify the pose to a head and shoulders.
