ChatGPT memes
Ask for three captions, pick one, and set the type yourself. The image model will misspell the punchline if you leave the words inside the picture.
Caption first, picture second
ChatGPT memes is a search for a joke image. A meme GPT will offer one. The reliable split is: write the caption in chat, then use a blank photo you have rights to, and add the words in a design tool. Asking the image model to paint the sentence produces wrong letters.
Give the situation, not the instruction 'make it viral'. Prompt: Three captions for a photo of a dog waiting by an empty bowl. Under ten words. No brands. No slur, no joke about a real private person.
What not to generate
Do not ask for a sexual meme, a meme that targets a private person, or a copy of a comedian's bit. A rewrite of someone else's joke is still their joke. Make a new one from a situation you saw.
If the draft punches down at a group, drop it. You do not need a model to tell you that. The rewrite page is for tone, not for laundering a copied caption.
