Dates, titles, and tools are facts. 'Led' is not a synonym you can sprinkle on work you assisted. If the bullet says you owned a launch, you should be able to describe the launch in an interview without the chat open.

Pair the resume with a cover letter only after the bullets are honest. The letter should not introduce a project the resume cannot support.

How to do it

1. Paste the real history. Job title, dates, and three things you actually did. Say: do not add employers, tools, or numbers that are not in this note.
2. Ask for bullets, not a new career. Request six bullets, each starting with a verb, each tied to a fact you supplied. Ask it to mark any bullet that needed a guess.
3. Delete the guesses. If a metric appeared that you did not write, delete it. Recruiters and background checks compare the file with what you can defend.
