Face analysis
A photo shows light, angle, and expression. It does not show a diagnosis, a personality, or an ancestry. Do not upload someone else's face for a verdict.
What a description can honestly say
Analysis of face, as a search, often expects a judgment: age, mood, health, 'type'. A face analyzer GPT will role-play that judgment. The pixels do not contain it. Useful questions are concrete: Where is the key light? Is the subject looking at the lens? Is there motion blur?
Do not use a chat to screen tenants, candidates, dates, or students from a portrait. That is a biased shortcut, and it is the wrong tool even when the prose sounds clinical.
Photos of other people
If the face is not yours, do not upload it for a score or a label. A custom GPT that offers this is still bound by OpenAI's usage policies. This site will not give you a prompt that rates a stranger.
The same boundary covers ethnicity labels and attractiveness scores. For objects and documents, use analyze pictures.
Questions
- Can ChatGPT estimate age from a face?
- It can output a number. The number is not a measurement. Do not use it for an age gate or an ID check.
- Can it diagnose a skin condition?
- No. A photo chat is not a clinician. See a doctor for a medical question.
- What prompt is acceptable?
- Describe the lighting and the crop of this portrait of me, for a photography class. That asks about the picture, not about your worth.

- Analyze picturesAsk one question about a picture you may upload. ChatGPT can describe and read. It cannot identify a stranger or diagnose from a photo.
- Ethnic guesserA face is not an ethnicity test. Tools that label ancestry from a photo are unreliable and easy to misuse. This page does not run one.
- ChatGPT attractivenessA custom GPT can print a number under a face. The number is style, not science. Do not upload someone else to be scored.
